'The Remarried Empress' arrived a day early. At the Disney+ series' press conference in Seoul on November 3, host Park Kyung Rim revealed that the premiere had moved from November 4 to November 3, with the first four episodes out that day.

Based on the popular web novel, the fantasy romance follows Empress Navier (Shin Min Ah), who marries Western Empire prince Heinrey (Lee Jong Suk) after Emperor Sovieshu (Ju Ji Hoon) divorces her for Rashta (Lee Se Young). Director Jo Soo Won said, as translated by Soompi: "I think it makes today even more meaningful that the series is premiering on the same day as the press conference." Two episodes will follow every Wednesday until the November 25 finale.
