BELIFT LAB has taken legal action over the stalking of ENHYPEN's Jay. In a Weverse notice on November 3 (KST), the agency said a person had repeatedly contacted Jay's personal phone since June, first posing as an internet and TV installation service center employee and mentioning his family to try to obtain more personal information. When Jay checked with his family, the claims turned out to be false, the agency said.

The agency said the individual kept calling despite Jay not responding, secretly recorded the conversations and spread them on KakaoTalk, Instagram and X Spaces. BELIFT LAB said it judged the conduct deliberate and malicious, filed a criminal complaint, and asked the three major telecom carriers to help identify the person. It thanked fans for their reports, said reports to its Artist Rights Protection page (protect.hybecorp.com) are reviewed continuously, and said it will take strong legal action "in accordance with our zero-tolerance policy" without leniency or settlements.
